The Treadwell HygiGR8® range has been purpose-built to meet the demanding hygiene, safety, and operational requirements of food and beverage processing facilities across the Middle East. Designed to simplify cleaning routines while supporting strict food safety standards, HygiGR8® offers a premium food-grade FRP grating solution suitable for both new facility developments and refurbishment projects throughout Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE.
HygiGR8® combines the practical advantages of both solid-top and open-mesh grating into a single innovative system. This unique design helps minimise the accumulation of food particles and production residue between the grating and supporting framework, improving sanitation and reducing cleaning time. Each panel incorporates a customisable solid-edge section that strategically covers the supporting beams beneath, creating a cleaner, more hygienic flooring system.
Manufactured using high-quality polyester resin formulated for food-grade applications, every HygiGR8® panel undergoes stringent quality testing to ensure compliance with food industry requirements. Before delivery, each panel is fully cured and thoroughly cleaned with detergent to provide a hygienic product ready for installation.
Treadwell’s HygiGR8® food-grade FRP grating is suitable for a wide variety of food production, beverage manufacturing, dairy processing, commercial kitchens, and packaging facilities throughout the Middle East. Surface Options
Anti-Slip Surface
For areas regularly exposed to water, oils, or food processing liquids, the anti-slip gritted surface provides enhanced traction to improve worker safety. Its durable textured finish delivers outstanding slip resistance even in demanding production environments, making it an ideal solution for food manufacturing facilities where secure footing is essential. Independent laboratory testing confirms its excellent friction performance and long-term durability.
Concave Surface
HygiGR8® is also available with a concave surface profile for applications where quick and efficient cleaning is a priority. The smooth contoured finish helps reduce the build-up of food residue and simplifies washdown procedures in hygienic processing areas. While it offers reliable slip resistance under normal operating conditions, its traction level is lower than that of the gritted anti-slip surface, making product selection dependent on the specific requirements of the facility.
