StormChief®
The EX-Series® StormChief® system is an advanced marine grating fastening solution engineered to deliver dependable performance in high-impact wave zone environments. Designed to complement Treadwell’s premium grating range, StormChief® provides a secure method of fixing grating panels to structural supports across demanding offshore and coastal infrastructure throughout the Middle East. Whether used on marine terminals, offshore platforms, desalination facilities, or waterfront developments, the system delivers exceptional stability in challenging operating conditions.
StormChief® incorporates heavy-duty underside clamps, removing the need for difficult under-grating fastening while significantly reducing installation time. A selection of insulating options also helps minimise galvanic corrosion by preventing direct contact between dissimilar metals, preserving protective surface coatings and extending the service life of supporting structures in aggressive marine environments.
StormChief DISC®
The StormChief DISC® is a high-strength grating fastening system developed for installations exposed to severe marine and wave loading conditions. It is particularly suited to walkways, platforms, and deck areas wider than 1200mm or locations where the StormChief CLAW® system cannot be practically installed due to structural or access limitations.
The recessed DISC® design creates a smooth and secure walking surface, reducing trip hazards while accommodating pedestrian traffic, maintenance personnel, and operational equipment. When paired with the StormChief® underside clamp, the system offers a reliable, efficient, and long-lasting fastening solution for critical marine infrastructure across Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE, and the wider Middle East.
StormChief CLAMP®
The StormChief CLAMP® is a heavy-duty stainless steel clamping bracket engineered to withstand demanding marine loading requirements and extreme coastal conditions. Specifically developed for continuous edge-to-edge joining of adjacent grating panels, it delivers outstanding structural integrity where secure panel connections are essential.
Designed for recessed installation within the grating profile, the StormChief CLAMP® helps maintain a safe walking surface by minimising trip hazards. Its corrosion-resistant construction makes it an ideal choice for ports, jetties, industrial waterfront facilities, offshore structures, and other public or commercial marine environments exposed to saltwater and harsh weather conditions.
StormChief CLAW®
The StormChief CLAW® is a robust 316 stainless steel grating fixing bracket designed for high-energy marine environments where dependable fastening is critical. Featuring integrated locking fingers that securely engage the grating apertures, the CLAW® delivers exceptional holding strength even under continuous wave impact and dynamic loading.
